The Neuse River cuts a winding and unpredictable path through the Coastal Plain of North Carolina, not unlike the lives of many youth and adults with concurrent diagnoses. Along the banks of the Neuse River, NOVA, Inc. operate unique programs that address the issues faced by children with behavioral challenges and adults with dual diagnoses (MR/MI).

Our clinical and medical director bring over 60 years of combined, post-graduate experience working with psychiatric populations, and our team of qualified professionals, nurses, social workers, and direct care staff facilitate the psychosocial development of our consumers in an collaborative, interdisciplinary manner. As a certified Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency (CABHA), we aim for the highest standard of care and offer a continuum of services for our consumers, ranging from Targeted Case Management to Day Treatment. We also offer residential services for both children and adults.
